Last night we went to dinner with some great friends--Mexican is my favorite! Since it's sooooo hot here in Georgia right now, I thought I would go with these super cute pink shorts I picked up at Walmart. I buy a good many of my shorts there since they have a pretty good selection and the you can't beat the prices. These were somewhere around $10. After we got home I laid down on the sofa and just fell right to sleep. I guess with all the heat and the wear of the work week I was really tired. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Today's post is another work outfit. This is what I wore today. I really liked this outfit. I was comfortable and easy, especially with my new flat. I got them at Cato for only $4.99! I did feel kinda silly wearing a sweater in the middle of June in Georgia (my thermometer registered 100 degrees today!) but I get really cold in the air conditioning at work. Today we decided to go the Lake Carroll to take pictures. There are so many nice places here to take pictures! I went for a mostly neutral look--Neutral colors are my favorite. My favorite part of this outfit is the button detail on the back of the top. After we shot the pictures we came home and I made an avocado and tomato salad. Mall Haul

 "Heroes in a half shell!"

I did a little shopping this weekend and these are a few of the things I picked up. I really wanted a new pair of black shorts that were dressier than the ones I have. I got these at Forever 21 along with the really cute chevron clutch and the black and gold chain bracelet. I have always been obsessed with bracelets, they are my favorite accessory. I also wanted a new white watch. I started my watch collection with only higher end watches but I enjoyed them so much I couldn't afford to keep buying $200 watches. Now it includes all price ranges. This one I got at Wal-Mart for $8! I also got some makeup goodies at CVS and Forever 21. I am really impressed by the Loreal BB Cream. I only have one eyshadow pallet from Forever 21 and I really like it. The makeup they have is pretty cheap and it could be hit and miss so I guess we'll see. I'm sure you saw the TMNT t-shit, well that is my hubby's. We are both pretty really geeky so I HAD to put that in today's post. :)

Date Night Italian Style

Tonight we had dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant La Trattoria on the square. We got our favorite waitress, Sheila and some really yumtastical food! I learned that I really need to get a new camera and will have to give up iPhone camera pictures soon. We also picked up some goodies at Target last night and tonight at CVS. So, today's post is about work attire. I think it is important to show the art and the functionality of clothes. There are times when we must put the whimsical side of dressing aside and dress for work. I work in a conservative office so I try not bust out the quirky outfits too often. The only set rule we have is no jeans at the office so I may take some liberties with that, but I always want to remain respectful. Being in the South conservative means very conservative.
