Bike Ride and Help the Kitties

This evening the hubby and I went to a local park so he could get some training in for his triathlon. There is a really nice track around the lake, so I rode my bike while he swam. It is so peaceful there this time of year and we are planning a family reunion there as well. The last picture is of my two cats, Puff Daddy and Sassy. These two little ones are so precious to me and I love them with all my heart. This evening when we got home there were two cats near our front door. One seemed to be a female and was very friendly, the other was pretty wild and seemed to be a boy. My point is, it was pretty obvious what they were up to and it is so very important to get your pets spayed and neutered. It usually seems as though cats over breed and have a tendency to be stray far more often than dogs, at least in this area. I also know that where I live so many people have the opinion that cats are disposable. This idea saddens me to my core. While I love dogs very much, I am far more a cat person than a dog person. Well I digress, just please channel your inner Bob Barker and help control the pet population. I hope everyone has a great weekend! :)

My Leopard Obsession

I recently got these leopard pumps at Ross. I love leopard so much and always have. I think it makes a great neutral and is a little sassy. I also got this huge link bracelet yesterday at New York and Co. They usually have some great staples and the jewelry is often on sale. I hope everyone had a great weekend. My husband has been training for a triathlon and has been really busy in the evenings during the time I take my pics. He has also changed to night shift and it is taking a while to adjust to. To The Maxi

So I caved and bought nerd glasses. I really do think they are so cute. And yes they are prescription. :) This skirt from Cato's Fashion is so comfortable! I decided to pair it with my purple necklace(Lizard Thicket) and leopard sandals(Target), just to keep things interesting. Tomorrow is Friday, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Lol!

This is the outfit I wore to work today. If you look anywhere lately these necklaces are there. I got this one at Lizard Thicket, a local shop. We also went to Atlantic Station this past Saturday and I got to stop by probably my favorite clothing store, Banana Republic. While I was there I scored this ivory top for only aroung $18! A major steal for Banana. I hope everyone has had a great Monday!

We went out this evening to run a few errands. The cultural arts center in our town has these really nice metal sculptures and it seemed like a great place for pictures. There are so many fun little quirky places around my town to take pictures and I am so thankful for that.

Under the Weather But a Haul Makes It Better

Finally! After three days of being sick with some sort of stomach virus I have a new blog post! Yay! :) I picked up several items this past week and weekend. Right now is a great time to pick up some summer items since, not only are the stores having great sales for the end of the season, back to school sales are everywhere. I picked up these items at several random locations:

          *Skirt, brush cleaner, eye primer, and sandals are from Target

All Mixed Up

This weekend I went to Alabama to visit my family. My mom, my sister and I went shopping on Saturday. I found these awesome green skinnies at Walmart, the striped tank is also from Walmart. They had several different colors of these skinnies. They are extremely comfy and I think they were well worth the $15.88 I paid for them. I am always happy when I can find a great deal on trendier items, like colored pants. I also tried a little pattern mixing with the tribal of the cross body bag and the stripes of the tank. I hope everyone had a great weekend! I always enjoy seeing my family and hope to make another trip to see them soon!

Happy 4th of July!

Today we enjoyed a BBQ with some great friends and this is what I wore. It was super comfortable and perfect for a summer cookout in Georgia. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we had a few sprinkles and some thunder but it never got bad. The plus side of the iffy weather was the cooler temps it brought, and the clouds were actually a nice relief from the blazing sun. We had super good food from the grill and I made potato salad. Last night we went to dinner with some great friends--Mexican is my favorite! Since it's sooooo hot here in Georgia right now, I thought I would go with these super cute pink shorts I picked up at Walmart. I buy a good many of my shorts there since they have a pretty good selection and the you can't beat the prices. These were somewhere around $10. After we got home I laid down on the sofa and just fell right to sleep. I guess with all the heat and the wear of the work week I was really tired. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Today's post is another work outfit. This is what I wore today. I really liked this outfit. I was comfortable and easy, especially with my new flat. I got them at Cato for only $4.99! I did feel kinda silly wearing a sweater in the middle of June in Georgia (my thermometer registered 100 degrees today!) but I get really cold in the air conditioning at work.
